Julie Marble

Statement of Affiliation

Dr. Julie Marble is the Director for Intelligent Human Machine Systems at the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security (ARLIS) at the University of Maryland. Her research focuses on the interaction of people and complex, intelligent machines. Her research focuses on computational theory of mind, assessment of intent, human-machine teaming, and trust and ethics of autonomous systems. She will be facilitating collaborative research between ARLIS and the MATRIX Lab, leveraging the facilities and robotics expertise at the MATRIX in combination with the research and AI expertise at ARLIS.
