Please join us for an upcoming event in the AIM Virtual Lecture Series, AI in the Physical World, on Wednesday, March 11, from 1:30–2:30 p.m.
This virtual lecture brings together Dr. Po-Yen Chen (Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering) and Dr. Ming C. Lin (Computer Science) for a forward-looking conversation on how spatial intelligence, agentic AI, and robotics are transforming real-world decision-making and accelerating materials discovery. The discussion will highlight advances in safe reinforcement learning, world models, and AI-driven autonomous experimentation that are shaping the future of intelligent systems in the physical world.
The event will be held via Zoom and is open to all. Register here: https://umd.zoom.us/meeting/register/cDbhM7iGT3-TQGVCLLY5Ug
