Opportunities with this Position

The UMD MVP will work with the MATRIX Lab team and its partners as well as their own connections to:

  • Open new layers of collaboration with the University of Maryland and its academic partners,
  • Form lasting relationships with the Department of Defense and industry partners in the greater Washington, DC area,
  • Work with cutting-edge technology in the MATRIX Lab and SMART Building's state-of-the-art lab spaces,
  • And teach a Development, Test & Evaluation, Verification & Validation (DTEVV) of Autonomous Systems course.

Candidate Information

  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen due to ITAR equipment in use
  • Intent is to have MVP work within the MATRIX environment (California, MD) and directly with MATRIX faculty
  • Term may cover one summer, one semester, or one academic year depending on the candidate's availability
